We had an incredible week of school spirit as HAY Spirit 

Week was in full force! Students and staff put forth 

incredible support and truly demonstrated their

 dedication to our phenomenal school!! Thank you to

 everyone who participated and donated. I will simply let

Student engagement was incredible this past week. From 

presentations in classes to literautre circle projects, our HAY

 students shined brightly! I continue to be incredibly proud of 

our phenomenal students!!



Mrs. Correira's class showed off their knowledge of the 

book they read by putting on their own game show!!

Fourth graders in Ms. Oakley/Mrs. Winters/Ms. Flaherty's

 class had a great project involving many different skills 

students needed to use!

something so creative and academic??!!

Students are finally back to a normal schedule in terms of holidays and half-days. It has been great to see their energy in the classroom!!

See what I mean? Great to watch Ms. Quigley and her students hard at work on improving their writing. This particular lesson focused on writing a good lead to a story!

We had the YHL going on this week! The Yelle Hockey League was in full effect in P.E. class. Check out our resident referee and P.E. teacher, Mr. Curran!!





Without question, both the teacher and students had a blast!!!

As we are getting into much colder temperatures, please know we will try our best to get the students outside for recess. We will only do so if the weather cooperates and students are dressed properly (i.e. a jacket). Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding!

What a great show of Patriots' spirit today at the HAY, from both students and teachers!!!!

Students in Mrs. Carline and Mrs. Desrosier's class have been studying explorers. As part of their lessons, they had a fantastic assignment, which was to create explorer cards!!

  • We have our Yelle Student of the Month assembly on 1/29.
  • There is no PTO meeting next week.
